STUTTGART, Germany (AP)– Tinalo ni Maria Sharapova si Li Na, 6-4, 6-3, upang matagumpay na maidepensa ang kanyang titulo sa WTA Porsche Grand Prix sa final sa pagitan ng dalawang huling French Open champions.

Nakuha ng top-seeded na Russian ang kanyang ikalawang titulo para sa taon matapos manalo sa Indian Wells. Siya ang unang manlalaro na napanatili ang titulo mula nang magawa ito ni Lindsey Davenport noong 2005.

Pinaalalahanan ng Office of the Ombudsman (OMB) ang mga opisyal at kawani ng gobyerno na ngayong Martes (Abril 30) na lang maaaring isumite ang kanilang Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Networth (SALN), na nagdedetalye sa mga financial at business interest ng mga naglilingkod sa gobyerno, gayundin ng kanilang mga asawa at anak na 17-anyos pababa at naninirahang kasama nila.



Sinabi ni OMB Chairperson Conchita Carpio Morales na obligado ang lahat ng naglilingkod sa gobyerno na maghain ng SALN, alinsunod sa Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees (RA 6713).

Ayon sa anti-graft czar, ang mabibigong maghain ng SALN ay mahaharap sa anim na buwang suspensiyon sa unang paglabag at pagkakasibak sa serbisyo sa ikalawang paglabag.

Sa ilalim ng nasabing batas, ang mga opisyal at kawani ng gobyerno ay inoobligang maghain ng kani-kanilang SALN 30 araw makaraang maluklok sa puwesto, bago o pagsapit ng Abril 30 ng bawat taon, o 30 araw makaraang magbitiw sa serbisyo.

Nagpaalala rin si Morales sa mga kawani ng gobyerno na maging tapat sa pagsagot sa SALN form dahil mahalaga ang ibibigay nilang mga detalye sa pagbubunyag sa mga natatagong yaman ng mga tiwaling empleyado ng gobyerno.

Kamakailan, inilabas ng Civil Service Commission (CSC) ang bagong SALN form na gagamitin simula ngayong taon ng lahat ng nagtatrabaho sa pamahalaan sa paghahain ng kani-kanilang SALN.
