SISIMULAN ng University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) ang selebrasyon ng kanilang ika-104 Foundation Dayngayon sa isang programa sa UP College of Agriculture (CA) Pook Pinagtatagan. Ang CA ang mother college ng kilala ngayong UPLB. Magdaraos ng isang trade fair sa Marso 6-10, 2013 at isang symposium sa Marso 7-9, 2013 sa DCA AgriPark sa UPLB campus.
Pararangalan ng UPLB ang kanilang oustanding teachers, researchers, extension specialists, at administrative staff sa isang seremonyang idaraos sa Seniors’ Social Garden. Kasama sa mga pinagpipitagang panauhin sa seremonya ay sina Secretary of Science and Technology Mario G. Montejo at UP President Alfredo E. Pascual.
Ang UPLB ay isang coeducational, publicly funded academic, research, at extention institution. Isa ito sa pitong constituent university ng UP System. Nagsimula bilang College of Agriculture noong 1909, ito ay naging full-fledged university noong 1972. Ngayon mayroon itong siyam na kolehiyo at dalawang paaralan, at sampung national research center at institute na nilikha ng batas. Siyam sa mga research center nito ay kinilala bilang Centers of Excellence.
Lumutang ang UPLB bilang nangungunang academic institution sa Southeast Asia. Nakatalaga ito sa pagsusulong ng karunungan at sa edukasyon ng mga mag-aaral sa science, technology, agriculture, forestry, veterinary medicine, at iba pang larangan ng scholarship na lapat sa pangangailangan ng mga Pilipino at ng buong sangkatauhan sa ika-21 siglo. Nakapamunga ito ng 30 sa 112 miyembro ng National Academy of Science and Technology of the Philippines at 13 sa 31 National Scientists of the Philippines.

Rex Victor O. Cruz, Vice Chancellors, Deans, Associate Deans, at iba pa nilang opisyal, faculty, staff, at mag-aaral, sa okasyon ng kanilang ika-104 Foundation Day. MABUHAY ANG UP LOS BAÑOS!
