HINDI na kinontra ni Reese Witherspoon ang kasong disorderly conduct at ang multang $213 sa kanya.

Ang Mud actress na kinasuhan ng disorderly conduct noong Abril 19, nang komprontahin ang isang pulis na umaaresto sa kanyang asawang si Jim Toth sa hinalang DUI sa Atlanta, Georgia ­ ay hindi na kumontra sa kaso noong Huwebes, at nag-guilty plea naman ang kanyang asawa, ayon sa TMZ.



Hindi na sumipot sa korte si Reese at hindi na rin siya pinatawan ng iba pang parusa maliban sa kakarampot na multa. Si Jim ay magsasagawa ng 40 hours of community service at dadalo sa alcohol education classes.

Isasailalim din siya sa probation sa loob ng 12 buwan.

Sa panayam ng Good Morning America noong Huwebes, ikinuwento ng Oscar-wining actress kung paano siya dumating sa puntong napagsabihan niya ang pulis ng, “Do you know my name?“ at “You’re about to find out who I am.“

“I saw [the police officer] arresting my husband and I literally panicked,“ ani Reese sa kanyang unang post-arrest interview. “I told him I was pregnant. I’m not pregnant. I said all kinds of crazy things. …I was so disrespectful to him. I have police officers in my family. I work with police officers every day. I know better. It’s just unacceptable.“

“We went out to dinner in Atlanta and we had one too many glasses of wine,“ ani Reese, na una nang umamin na nakainom siya sa pahayag na inilabas niya pagkatapos ng insidente. “We thought we were fine to drive and we absolutely were not. We know better and we shouldn’t have done that.

“It’s just completely unacceptable and we are so sorry and embarrassed,“ patuloy niya. “I think we made a mistake and it was something that will absolutely never happen again.“

At ang pinakamahirap na parte ng insidente ay ang pagpapaliwanag niya sa mga anak, mayroon siyang dalawang anak sa unang asawang si Ryan Philippe at isa kay Jim.
