Ang Swiss giant na Nestle ang huling food company na tinamaan ng horsemeat scandal, ipinababalik ang dalawang uri ng pasta meal sa mga supermarket sa Italy at Spain dahil sa kontaminasyon.
Lumabas ang balita noong Lunes kasabay ng pagbawi ng German discount chain na Lidl ng ready-made meals mula sa Finnish, Danish, Swedish at Belgian stores nito nang makumpirma ang presensiya ng horsemeat. Ayon sa mga awtoridad, mahigt 4.5 milyong beef products na ipinagbibili sa Europe ang nakontamina ng horsemeat kabilang ang mga gawa sa Britain, Ireland, France, Austria, Norway, the Netherlands at Germany.
